Overview

English for Beginners at Eurocentres is a supportive, structured course that accommodates learners who have had very little exposure to English. We know that it's important to start off in the right way, and students in our Beginners classes do just that. Surrounded by other students at the same level as you, this course gives you the opportunity to build confidence and get to grips with the basics, step-by-step. A systematic approach is crucial in laying the foundations of English grammar and communication, as this will make progressing to the next level easier and more enjoyable. Course materials and weekly plans are tailored to suit the needs of a beginner's class, which means you can study at an appropriate pace with clear aims and achievable targets in mind.

Focus

Beginner's English focuses on improving communication skills needed for daily life outside of the classroom. Students are given opportunities to practice speaking with each other during activities that have a relevant context and clear aim, and will also have the chance to develop their reading, writing, and listening skills.

General Language English

Our General Language English classes focus on providing you with natural contexts and real-life opportunities to practice your English. We try to make our classes as relevant as possible to your daily life outside of the classroom, through role-plays, debates, and discussions.

We make sure you are placed in a level that's right for you.

General Language classes are divided by level, so that you can practice your skills in a safe and supportive environment with your peers.

Online entry

Before you arrive at your chosen school, you are given the opportunity to take a pre-entry test online. This means that your school knows which class to place you in, even before your first day. When you arrive, you will speak with the senior teacher who will make a final assessment of your English level and place you in the correct class.

Class tests are given to every student at frequent intervals during their course, and your results and progress can be discussed in regular 1-to-1 sessions with your teacher.
