School Information

Located in the heart of the city, moments from all of the city’s best museums, galleries, shops, bars and restaurants, Bayswater Liverpool School is the place to begin your language journey. The college focuses on courses that make a difference in your career and allow you to develop lifelong relationships with students from around the world. The college offers students a home away from home, full support for all of our students and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our school is a stone's throw away from some of Liverpool's well-known attractions: the world-famous Cavern Club (birthplace of The Beatles), the waterfront and the Royal Albert Dock (the UK's most visited tourist attraction). 

The school is open between 3 January - 16 December 2022, including all UK public holidays.

  • There is a homestay option to suit anyone, in all types of household. All of our homestay providers use hosts that are carefully chosen and regularly inspected. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable with a place for quiet study.

    We do everything we can to match you with your perfect homestay. You can choose between bed and breakfast, or half-board (two meals per day), and choose to have your own room, or share with a friend. You will be provided with laundry facilities, towels and bedding, and free internet. Usually, home stays are no more than 10 minutes away from the nearest public transport and 30-40 minutes from the school.

Advice for Under 18s

Bayswater offers year-round courses and programmes to students from the age of 16 from all over the world in all of our UK centres. Please note that these students will join our adult courses unless enrolled on our Junior Summer programmes. 

Under 18s will be required to provide a parental consent form prior to arrival, as part of our safeguarding procedure. 

Please note some of our year-round schools social activities may not be suitable for students under 18.

Under 18s are required to sign in at arrival and sign out at departure each time they are at the school.

It should be noted that we cannot provide 24-hour supervision to adults or students between 16-18 years old. Under 18s will also be recommended to stay in homestay accommodation.
