Our priority is the health and well-being of IELTS test takers and staff. We are following advice from the British Council to suspend IELTS testing temporarily. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Eurocentres is one of the largest IELTS exam providers in Europe. Our exam head office is located in Central London. We have several IELTS exam centres across the UK and hold regular Saturday paper-based tests throughout the year. The cost of the IELTS exam is £185. We also offer computer-delivered IELTS exams at all of our UK venues.
You can upload your passport /ID to the Online registration system. However if you have trouble uploading the document, please email it to us.
Email you documents in PDF or JPEG format. Once we have processed your documents and payment we will send you a confirmation email with details of your IELTS test booking.
You have 24 hours to send us your documents and make a payment. If we do not hear from you, within 24 hours we will assume you no longer wish to sit the test with us and cancel your reservation (24 hour rule not applicable on weekends).
If you are applying for a test within 7 days of the test date, you must send us your documents and make payment by 4pm the same day.

The IELTS test is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16. However it is left to the discretion of each individual. The minimum age for an IELTS test taker is 11 years old.
If you are under 18, we require permission from your parent or a legal guardian to allow us to capture your photo and finger scan during the registration process on the exam day. Please download an IELTS Consent Form below. You must email this form to our office before we can confirm your booking. Please note that if you are under 18 and you do not have a consent form with your application documents, you will not be allowed to take the test.
The exam fee for 2020 is £180

The Academic module is for people who want to study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course, or who wish to register with a professional body.
The General Training module focuses on basic survival skills in a broader social and educational setting. General Training is suitable if you are joining a training programme or doing work experience in English speaking countries, but is not designed for degree level. This module is also suitable for those wishing to emigrate to Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
Candidates, must have one of the following documents:
Current passport
EU national ID (both sides)
UK Resident permit (both sides)
We cannot accept passport copies even if they are certified by a solicitor, driving licences, national insurance cards, work/students cards or home office letters. If you don’t have your passport but you have an ARC card, please contact us and we will explain what to do next.

You are sent a confirmation email, timetable and map for the exam venue within 24 hours of payment. Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email within this time (24 hour rule does not apply at weekends).
Please wait until you have sat the exam in order for you to send your passport away. If you have already sent your passport away, you should contact the Home Office and request to have it returned to you for the exam day. Eurocentres is not able to make or accept certified copies of passports. If you do not have your original passport on the day of the exam, you will not be allowed to sit the exam.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to be at the exam venue on time. On the exam day, the doors open at 8:30 am and we close the doors at 9:30 am. Candidates that arrive late will not be allowed to sit the exam and they will lose their exam fee. For emergencies on the exam day, you can ring our emergency number from 8:30am till 5PM (on the exam day only).

If you were unable to attend an exam due to an emergency, please contact the office on the Monday after the exam, we will be able to advise you on what you need to do next.
Yes, it is possible. However, the notice period is 5 weeks before the exam. Any changes in the booking must be notified in writing. There is a £35 transfer fee that candidates must pay in full before we can confirm the transfer. If you book for an exam with less than 5 weeks you cannot transfer to another exam date. (Some exceptions may apply on a case by case basis).
In order to ensure that the language ability of all test takers is assessed fairly and objectively, IELTS provides a comprehensive service for test takers who have special requirements, including specific learning difficulties, hearing difficulties and visual difficulties, medical conditions.
If you require a modified version of IELTS, you must give the test centre three months’ notice. If your circumstances require special arrangements to be made, e.g. extra time, you must give the test centre six weeks' notice.

Candidates that booked for an IELTS exam cannot refuse to have their photo and finger scan taken as they must agree to this before they can book for an IELTS exam. You will find this snippet of information in the terms and conditions.

Results should be ready 13 days after the exam. For UK addresses it can take 2 to 3 working days to receive the results in the post. Overseas post can take up to 2 to 3 weeks.
It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide the correct postal address, including postcode (in applicable countries), when booking for an exam. Candidates’ providing a wrong or incomplete address that results in the loss of their certificate will be required to pay £25 in order to obtain a new certificate.
Candidates that fail to notify us that they have not received the results within a month of the release date will have to pay £25 to get a new certificate.
Results cannot be faxed, emailed or given by telephone due to data protection laws.
Yes, you can. Results would be available from the 13th day after the exam. Please note that they will only be available online for 40 days.
You are entitled up to 5 free copies of your results to be sent directly from our centre to universities or government bodies. Please fill in the Additional IELTS certificate form then email it to us. It will take 24 hours for us to process your request.
Some universities or bodies are registered with the British Council to access your results through the IELTS results verification website. You will only need to provide your TRF number which can be found in the bottom right hand corner of your certificate. If you are not sure that they can access your results online, please feel free to contact us and we can check this information for you. Once you have used up your 5 free copies, we will charge £25 for any extra copy that you request.
Yes, however, you will need to pay £25 replacement fee per certificate.
Candidate may request up to 2 additional TRFs under conditions such as damage or loss.
No proof for loss or damage needs to be provided.
Submissions for additional TRF must be made in writing to the centre with a copy of ID document used on the test day.

Once we receive your certificate, we will proceed to issue you a new certificate and process your refund.
Please also bear in mind that the request for a remark has to received within 6 weeks from the exam date. We advise you not to leave it until the last minute to apply for a remark as we will not accept remark requests that arrive past the required period.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of Eurocentres IELTS Test Centre service and wish to make a complaint, you can do so by sending a letter of complaint to our office at ielts@eurocentres.com detailing the problem. Alternatively, you can complete a Candidate Complaint Form on the day of your test. Any complaints about the test day itself should be made on the day of the test. As per the British council regulations, we cannot accept any complaints once the results have been released.
