The University of Cambridge is made up of 31 colleges, which are open at various times throughout the year for visitors to look around their grounds. There's no better way to understand the history of Cambridge than wandering the beautiful halls and gardens of its famous university! For something special, take a traditional punt tour along the river and see a different side to the city. There's also the picturesque market square in the very heart of the city, selling everything from handmade soaps and speciality coffees, to British cheeses and locally-sourced fruits and vegetables. Or you could visit Fitzbillie's, Cambridge's oldest tearoom, for an authentic afternoon tea!
