Playa del Carmen

For the majority of visitors, Playa del Carmen is the stuff dreams are made of. Imagine being within walking distance of white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and world-class scuba diving: living in a tropical paradise will be part of your daily routine.

In Playa del Carmen, art, music, and food are very important parts of culture and of everyday life, and they are also great ways of immersing yourself in la vida mexicana (the Mexican lifestyle). This lovely seaside town is located in the Yucatan peninsula, one of the most culturally and historically important Mexican regions and the birthplace of Mayan civilisation. Ancient ruins, beautiful sinkholes, and great examples of Mayan art are never too far in Playa del Carmen. This seaside resort has a cool Caribbean feel, and being in the heart of the stunning Mayan Riviera means that you'll have easy access to famous tourist destinations like Cancun, Tulum, and Xcaret theme park, one of the best-rated attractions in Mexico.
