Language School Paris — Eurocentres: Une vie en rose!
Do you fancy an unforgettable romance full of fun, pleasure and passion? Then head to Paris – the city that is always ready for the next adventure; that knows how to charm you and lives up to its name. May we present: the City of Love!
Once you arrive in Paris, you will feel this love in the form of good food, the haute couture of the Parisian catwalk and the effortlessness of the French sense of self. A good language stay captures all of this as it nourishes itself off the country’s, cultures and people. Language stays make learning a language a unique experience, but it is also the experiences away from the lessons that make the journey particularly attractive. Paris combines everything in one place. You will get to know all these facets at Eurocentres because we know our “old friend” Paris and all its best sides.
Paris is a proud city. Classic tourist attractions, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre-Dame Cathedral, characterise this city’s impressive image, confidently displayed to the outside world. Away from the big tourist magnets, however, there are important insider tips which represent the real beauty of this city: the Musée d’Orsay on the banks of the Seine as a must for all art lovers and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica with its unique view over the city are just two of many gems that adorn Paris. The biggest attraction is and remains the city itself. Nowhere else is the savoir-vivre so alive as it is in the small bistros and cafés of the artists’ quarter of Montmartre, in the shops and stores on the Iles Saint-Louis in the middle of the Seine, or in the bars and restaurants of Rue Mouffetard. At least once after a lesson it is worth letting yourself be carried along by the vibe of the city – or perhaps two or even three times.
The path to your language stay in Paris
Over two million residents and twenty arrondissements – Paris is remarkably large. Therefore, when you go on a tour of the city, we would suggest that you do as the Parisians do and take the metro. It is relatively cheap at just 18 euros per week. In addition to the famous Gare du Nord, Paris has a further five stations for day trips to the Palace of Versailles or to Reims and Épernay, one of the main centres of Champagne production. You can get to Paris and your language study abroad by flying into one of the two airports, Charles de Gaulle or Orly.
The good transportation network in Paris will also get you to the city’s student quarter, the Latin Quarter. Here the French capital shows its academic side: all the renowned universities and secondary schools are in this quarter – as is the Eurocentres Paris Language School. Where better to learn and understand the French language, the most sacred commodity of the French people, than in these atmospheric surroundings? The school itself plays its part, of course: peacefully located in the pedestrian zone, the newly-restored building embodies the perfect harmony of an architecture steeped in history and contemporary comfort. In addition to the broad-ranging courses on offer, there is also a well-equipped media centre available for self-study. C’est bon? The school’s own sun terrace is the icing on the cake. Here you can learn and live unforgettably.
Speak French like the Parisians
The central location of the student quarter makes the city a constant companion of the learning process. After the end of each lesson, you will find yourself right back in one of the most exciting and beautiful French-speaking cities in the world. The fact that the French avoid communicating in any languages other than their own just serves to develop your language skills. After all, the Eurocentres Language School can encourage you to learn the language, but ultimately, what you learn will become second nature only if you use it on a daily basis and get to know the locals. In that regard, Paris welcomes you with open arms.
Open-hearted and outgoing – what’s true for the city is also true for the host families that accommodate our students. Everyone can find the environment that best suits them, from families with children to single households and retired couples. All our host families are carefully selected and continuously checked. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and every course participant has access to a quiet place to study. Most of all, this type of accommodation ensures you benefit from the authentic French way of life. Paris literally opens doors – a unique opportunity to get an intimate and informal glimpse behind the scenes of this big, colourful city.
International atmosphere in the student city of Paris
By contrast, in one of our two student halls of residence, contact with students from all over the world is the priority. Here friendships form, plans for the day or evening are made, and a vibrancy emerges that is characterised by fun and a good mood. In both cases – with a host family and in a student hall of residence – your language development benefits tremendously from incorporating your new language skills into a social environment. The big city of Paris takes on a familiar flair and becomes a second home you become fond of during your language stay.
The Eurocentres Paris Language School offers you everything that makes a first-class language school stand out: a wide range of courses to choose from, excellent learning conditions, all-round support and the necessary expertise to teach a complex language such as French. In that regard, we know that, ultimately, the best language school is actually Paris itself. We use this knowledge to our advantage: with tours, daytrips, leisure activities and accommodation in the middle of the city, we embed the learning process into big city entertainment. This will most certainly awaken your love for the global metropolis of fashion, the centre of French culture, the “grande dame” of France. Have a heart-stopping flirtation with this unforgettable city, together with the Eurocentres Language School in Paris – in excellent French, of course.

A typical day at Eurocentres Paris
Alongside approximately 2.2 million inhabitants, Diego is living in France’s capital city for two weeks to learn French. It is completely different to his home town in Spain! He finds the lively hustle and bustle very exciting and enjoys watching Parisian life during his journey to school every morning on the Métro. During the day he trains his language skills, even practising on his way to and from school. Diego has already made incredible progress. But first he had to get used to the fast tempo with which the locals speak.
In the student hostel, he has a single room with its own bathroom at a reasonable price. When he has free time and wants to go somewhere, he can always find someone to accompany him. In the student hostel, there are people from all over the world. Diego has already made quite a few friends. They often go on sightseeing tours together and discover the attractions and beauty of the city with its many romantic corners. Art in exhibitions and museums, architectural highlights such as the 324-metre Tour Eiffel or the Arc de Triomphe, not to mention the diverse nightlife and the fine French cuisine. Your visit to Paris will be an all-round pleasure.
