The Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF) language course is intended to prepare C1- and C2-level speakers for the globally recognised French Diploma and follows on from the DELF Diplôme. At C1 level, you will be able to use French fluently and expressively in both written and oral work, as well as comprehend and accurately summarise media broadcasts. At C2 level, you will be comfortable using French in advanced academic situations, as well as possessing fluent debating skills. The DALF exam covers reading, writing, speaking and listening, and lasts for around four hours. Passing this exam will open the door to studying at most French universities, as well as providing you with an internationally recognised qualification which will enhance your CV.
The Eurocentres French course is designed for the DALF syllabus and will prepare you for the requirements of the C1 or C2 exams. You will enjoy the opportunity to learn French abroad in a French-speaking country and to further develop your skills in the language. Our teachers will use tools that have been shown to produce results, and will provide an interesting and diverse set of units covering a broad range of subjects and language use appropriate for advanced students. You will find it helpful and enjoyable to use your French as much as possible while preparing for the exam, for example by watching TV or listening to radio debates, as well as reading magazines and newspapers.
