CSN Study Abroad

When you study abroad you can obtain special payment plans. Study assistance consists of grants and loans. The amount varies depending on which country you go to and how many weeks you are studying. You also have the opportunity to borrow money for extra costs such as tuition fees, travel and insurance.

What is required to apply for study?

If you wish to apply for a grant or loan to study a European language the course must take place in Europe. You cannot apply for student loans to study Spanish in South America or English in the United States. In order to apply for student loans in the EU the course must be for a minimum of three weeks. Outside the EU requires that the training is at least 13 weeks long and that it is student aid eligible.

When applying for student loans, you must have a certificate from the school confirming that you are enrolled on a course with them, without this certificate, you cannot obtain a student loan. We focus on the language that will help you quickly obtain this certification. CSN approves only full-time studies, which usually means at least 20 hours per week of language courses. You must have a final grade from high school.

Things to consider

Make sure to plan ahead when applying for student aid. Once you have been granted a student loan, you need to obtain a study confirmation, without which youwill not receive any money. The study confirmation confirms your chosen course and the aid you have applied for.
