US University Credits

Thanks to Eurocentres’ partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), students who earn a Eurocentres certificate through regular attendance and who have not made a credit arrangement with their own university are eligible to receive graded UWM study abroad credit for their Eurocentres studies. Credits awarded by UWM will be accepted by any other US university. UWM faculty regularly audit Eurocentres language program sites and ensure compatibility between the Eurocentres curriculum and the needs of US university students. UWM’s first and second year courses for French, German, Italian and Japanese are mapped to Eurocentres levels for credit purposes and flexible credits are awarded at a more advanced level.

How many credits will I get?
Credits are generally awarded according to the following table. Please note that the table  is a guideline only. Credit hours are based on a conversion of 15 class hours to 1 credit hour. If, for example, you do not have a class because of national holidays, then these missed class hours will not count towards your credits.
