Accommodation 

In San Diego, students can select from staying with a host family, in private accommodation or in a Campus apartment.

Host families: Most student stay with American families with or without half board. There are many types of host families - from families with children to single-person households (in most cases older landladies). All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected. When placing students, also special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration.

Apartments: There is also the option of staying in an apartment, either an on-campus apartment (summer only) or a private apartment within 5 km of the campus.

Depending on where the students stay, commuting to school may take 20 to 45 minutes by bus. It is highly recommended to use a bicycle to get around the campus.
