Main attractions There is so much to see and do in New York City - we could fill books with it. Visit the Statue of Liberty, enjoy a meal in a Thai, Indian, French, Polish or Japanese restaurant, go jogging in the Central Park, visit the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) where the works from artists such as Picasso, Monet, Matisse and Warhol can be seen, walk up Madison Avenue with its exclusive stores, feel the artist atmosphere in Greenwich Village, smell the flowers in the New York Botanical Garden, ice-skate in the Rockefeller Center and there is still much more. Climate Autumn and spring in New York are delightful, with clear skies and high temperatures around 18°C. The city has moderately cold winters with occasional snow or rain, and with daily highs around 2°C. Although July and the first half of August can be hot and humid (normal high 28°C), very hot weather seldom lasts more than a few days. There is moderate precipitation in every month of the year.
