London’s museums, palaces, clubs, churches and theatres are all easily accessible. A ten-minute walk from the school takes you to the village of Blackheath with its interesting cafes, bars and shops.
Approximately 15 minutes by bus from the school is Eltham Palace, a former home to British kings and queens with a stunning art deco interior from the 1930’s. You can also visit Bluewater, the largest shopping centre in Europe, which is just 30 minutes by bus from Lee Green.
Close by is historic Greenwich with its rich architectural heritage. Located next to the River Thames, it is the home of the Cutty Sark (Britain's most famous sailing ship), the Royal Naval College (originally a palace for Charles II), the National Maritime Museum, and the Royal Observatory from where time and longitude are measured. Greenwich Park has impressive views of the rest of London. On Sundays, there are open-air craft and antique markets.
Twenty-five minutes’ train ride away is the heart of London - an outstanding cultural centre with over 30 theatres and a choice of concerts every evening. London's museums and art galleries are world-famous, and there are many historic buildings (Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament). Other tourist attractions include Madame Tussaud’s, London Aquarium, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square.

Day 1:
Morning Departure from London by Train. Transfer by local coach and guided sightseeing tour, free evening.

A free day to explore the sights and attractions of Scotland’s Capital, optional evening meal and traditional Scottish ceilidh.
Day 3:
Free morning for sightseeing and shopping. Late afternoon coach transfer to station and train service back to London.
Tour Includes:
Return train travel, shared accommodation (bed & breakfast, tourist class hotel, sharing twin or triple room), sightseeing according to program. Meals and optional tours are not included. Single rooms are available on request and subject to a supplement of GBP 25 per night.
