Main attractions
London has something to offer every taste. It has long been famous for being on the cutting edge of fashion and music and for the younger visitor there are many clubs and alternative shows to go to. Apart from the world-famous shopping in Oxford Street and Harrods there are also the trendier designer markets in Covent Garden, Camden Lock and Kensington to wander around. London is also home to some of the finest galleries and museums in the world - the exhibitions in the National Gallery, the Tate Modern and Tate Britain galleries and the British Museum, Victoria and Albert, and Science Museums to name but a few. The West End is also full of theatres with musical productions and the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican and Royal Festival Hall have concerts all year round. It is possible to visit the Houses of Parliament, as well as to tour Buckingham and Kensington Palaces and the Tower of London. For those who wish to relax in the open air, parks such Hyde Park, Regents Park and Kew Gardens offer beautiful gardens to stroll around. The London Eye offers spectacular views of the city and is in within walking distance of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

Climate
