Cambridge student residence Tripos Court

In Cambridge, students can choose between staying in halls of residence, with an English host family or in individual accommodation.

Halls of residence: Tripos Court halls of residence provide modern bedrooms with private shower and WC for language and university students who like more privacy and independence. Shared kitchens allow students to meet over the evening meal. School can be reached within 10 minutes on foot or within 5 minutes by bike.

Host families: Many of our students prefer to stay privately with British host families. There are many types of host families - from families with children to single-person households (in most cases older landladies). All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected. When placing students, also special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration. Travel time can range from 15 minutes' walk to 25 minutes by bicycle. Dinner is usually taken around 6.30 p.m. and offers the best opportunity to converse with members of the host family. There is also the option of booking bed and breakfast accommodation with a host family.
