Using language in a working environment

This is the magic formula to extend your knowledge, whilst gaining professional experience at the same time. Improve your chances of getting a job by gaining experience in international business, getting to know new colleagues from different countries and extending your language and professional horizons. Eurocentres offers two voluntary work programmes: in sunny California and in Brisbane.

You do not work in an office: you work in the outside world as a volunteer.

In Silicon Valley (California) the emphasis is on social work in the local community:
you may be placed in a school as a teaching assistant, in an old people’s home or
helping behind the counter in a health shop.

In the Brisbane programme, the emphasis is on conservation: you take part working
with other volunteers in projects in national parks. These programmes called “Conservation Experience” do not offer pocket money: the experience of a lifetime is
the thing!

Requirements: participants have to be at least 18 years old, have completed their education or professional experience and attained Eurocentres Level 5.
