Chinese Language School in Beijing

Eurocentres Beijing is housed in traditional premises that used to be the residence of a Qing Dynasty princess. The quarter has been renovated in the original style and full of atmosphere. The premises are secluded and therefore very quiet despite their central location. On the premises there is a small and comfortable hotel where Eurocentres students can stay. Eurocentres is situated right in the centre of Beijing, about 2 miles North-east of the Forbidden City, near Lama temple, Beihai park and the nightlife area of Houhai. The school is in a nice, quiet location a few minutes on foot from a new subway line. Because of the central location many of the interesting sights are quickly reached on foot, by bike, taxi or by subway. In addition, from the school, you can directly walk into the old neighbourhoods of Beijing, the Hutongs. There are also many nice restaurants and local shops nearby.

Testimonials

“The teachers are very professional, and the personal approach they use as they teach, really helps you to make the progress you want! My teacher and I worked on my conversational skills every morning so I could put them into practise in the afternoon. Every afternoon Eurocentres Beijing offers great activities and excursions. From tai chi and calligraphy workshops to day trips to the Great Wall and the Chinese countryside. I did it all and it was unforgettable!”
“China is becoming more and more important in the world. So it is logical for me that I would like to study the Chinese language. The lessons in Beijing are well structured and offer a lot of variety. The lessons are a combination of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a practical focus. Next to the language lessons there is an extensive cultural program you can participate in. ”
“Staying in Beijing with Eurocentres Beijing for a summer has been an exciting experience. Visiting the Chinese Wall is pretty obvious, but going to the karaoke bar, riding the bike through the old ‘hutong’ lanes, making friends with the people from the local fruitshop and having chinese lessons in an Qing courtyard made it really special! The programme offered lots of possibilties and flexibility.”
