This famous Ivy-League University campus is situated in Upper Manhattan. Columbia stretches across several blocks and with its colleges, stores, snack bars and restaurants it’s a small village in its own right. The American Language Program (ALP) is an integral part of the university’s green, leafy Morningside Heights campus. The ALP, founded in 1911, is one of the oldest English programs in the USA.
