A typical day on an American language program

09:00-10.50	Integrated skills	The morning session is an integrated skills class with the level leader, the principal teacher of the 3 who share responsibility for a class. A typical class might include a reading or listening lesson together with vocabulary and grammar work related to a specific topic.
	Break
11.00-11.50	Guided individual study	Audio, video, reading or computer writing lab in the university's Humanities Resource Center.
Lunch	Lunch in one of the many campus and neighborhood eating spots.
13.10-15.00	Afternoon lessons	The afternoon lesson will typically be an integrated skills class with one of the two other teachers assigned to this level. They will follow the thread of the morning lesson, introducing more speaking, writing and grammar work centered on the same theme.
